Optimising information exchange to coordinate fires and battlefield assets…

Current conflicts have highlighted the critical need for closer coordination between the services, ensuring targets can be prosecuted rapidly and safely, and battlefield assets and resources are optimally employed. Recommendations for procedural, structural and technological integration have been made to overcome key battlefield challenges such as sharing situational awareness, coordinating targeting information, airspace deconfliction and fratricide risk.
